A KEY figure in Scottish women’s history will be discussed at a meeting next weekend.
Catherine Blair’s East Lothian life – family background, her activity as a suffragette and how she founded the Scottish Women’s Institute – will be highlighted by Dr Hanita Ritchie.
The talk, which is given to East Lothian Antiquarian and Field Naturalists’ Society, takes place in Haddington’s Holy Trinity Church.
Non-members are welcome to attend the talk, which takes place at 2.30pm next Saturday (November 9), with a modest cash donation appreciated.
