THE death of a 74-year-old man in a park in Musselburgh is being treated as 'unexplained'.
Police officers attended Lewisvale Park last Thursday evening after concern for the man was raised but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated as ‘unexplained’ but the circumstances are not thought to be suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10pm on Thursday, October 24, we received a report of concern for a person in the Lewisvale Park area of Musselburgh.
“Officers attended; however, a 74-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained; however, there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
