A PROGRAMME of festive fundraisers has been revealed to ensure Dunbar is sparkling this Christmas.
Volunteers behind the town’s popular Christmas lights display have announced two events leading up to the switch-on at the end of next month.
A fundraising auction will take place throughout next month, while a quiz night is also planned for Dunbar Bowling Club on November 16.
Doors open at 7pm, with the chance for members of the public to test their knowledge.
Then, on November 24, an afternoon of festivities will take place ahead of the lights switch-on in the town centre.
Entertainment and market stalls ahead of the switch-on are promised between 2pm and 6.30pm.
Next year, plans are being drawn up for a Burns night in the Royal Mackintosh Hotel in January before a duck race in April at Belhaven.
More details will be revealed over the coming days.
