FORMER Ross High School pupils are being invited back to join in with celebrations for the school’s 70th anniversary next month.
A celebratory afternoon tea is being held at the Tranent school on Friday, November 29, as part of an event filled with "fun, food, drama and music".
Paul Reynolds, headteacher, is hoping to welcome former pupils to the occasion, which takes place from 2pm to 4pm.
Those who attended Ross High School when it first opened in 1954 are especially encouraged to join the celebrations.
Live music will be performed by Davey Sloan & the Rattlers, an Edinburgh-based band covering hits from the '50s and '60s.

Tickets for the afternoon tea cost £5 and can be bought from the school office, by calling 01875 610433 or by emailing admin@ross.elcschool.org.uk
