A WOMAN has been admonished at court after admitting assaulting a police officer.
Lisa Bissett attempted to headbutt PC Nicola Goodall after she had been arrested following an incident on Newbigging in Musselburgh on June 5 last year.
Bissett, of High Street, Cockenzie, had attended at a property in the street where she repeatedly shouted, swore and acted in an aggressive manner.
Police were called out and the 43-year-old carried out the assault on PC Goodall.
Bisset pleaded guilty to both offences at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week and was warned of her future behaviour and granted an admonition on the charge.
