A MUSSELBURGH man will return to court for sentencing next month after he admitted to an assault at an Edinburgh hospital.
Callum Reynolds repeatedly punched the male victim on the head, causing him to fall to the ground at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital on June 16, 2019.
The 32-year-old also kicked and punched the man on the head and body to his injury.
Reynolds, of Stoneybank Court, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday.
No narration into the assault was read out in open court and sentence was deferred for social work reports and a restriction of liberty order assessment to November 6.
