A COUNTY man has been fined and ordered to carry out unpaid work after he was caught with drugs at his home.
Jack McIntee, 21, was found in possession of quantities of cocaine and cannabis when police searched the property on Milne Meadows, Old Craighall.
McIntee was arrested during the incident on June 27 and subsequently pleaded guilty to both offences when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court earlier this year.
Sentence had been deferred for reports and he was back in the dock for sentencing last Tuesday.
Sheriff Stewart fined McIntee £210 fine and placed him on a supervision order for 18 months.
The sheriff also told the offender that he must carry out 140 hours of unpaid work and said he must attend substance abuse appointments when required to do so as part of a conduct requirement.
