A "SERIOUSLY injured" man has been taken to hospital after emergency services were called out to Musselburgh this morning (Monday).
Links View, in the Fisherrow area of the town, was cordoned off this morning with police in attendance.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland told the Courier: “Around 3.50am on Monday, October 14, we were called to a report of a man seriously injured in the Links Avenue area of Fisherrow, Musselburgh.

“Emergency services attended and a 47-year-old man was taken to Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
