YOUNGSTERS have swapped the classroom for the care home as part of a special visit.
Pupils at Letham Mains Primary School visited the neighbouring care home, which is under construction, off Gateside Road.
A spokesperson for the care home was delighted to welcome the youngsters, along with Bruce Murray, headteacher at the school.
They said: “They had an educated tour before leaving with a goodie bag!
“This is the start to a new inter-generational relationship with our residents.
“Our first residents will move in early next year from Hilton Lodge.”
