CLIENTS at Dunbar Day Centre could soon be out on the open road.
Just over two years ago, the day centre launched an appeal to raise funds to buy its own minibus.
Now, after a long fundraising campaign, it is celebrating the arrival of a brand-new 17-seater bus.
Claire Ainslie, manager of the day centre on the town’s Westgate, said: “Each day, we offer our guests a lift to and from the centre.
“We are particularly delighted that they can now spend days out together.
“Give our guests a wave as you see the bus going by!”

Claire thanked all those who had donated throughout the campaign and also Torrance Taxis for the “excellent service they have provided over the years”.
The day centre is also planning an open day for people to find out more about what they do.
For more information, head along between 10am and noon on November 30.
