TWO people have been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged “road traffic offence” on one of Haddington’s busiest roads.
Four police vehicles were spotted parked on the town’s West Road on Monday evening.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland has said: “Around 5.40pm on Monday, October 7, 2024, we were called to a report of a road traffic offence in Haddington.
“A car was traced in the West Road area and a 37-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the incident."
The man and woman were expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
