A DUNBAR man was caught driving a vehicle despite previously being banned from the road.
Charles Hamilton drove the car on the town’s Spott Road on July 25, 2020.
Hamilton, of High Street, was found to be using the vehicle while disqualified from driving.
Police officers also discovered that, due to the existing ban, the 42-year-old did not hold any valid insurance.
Hamilton admitted both offences earlier this year and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week for sentencing.
He was fined a total of £470 and had six penalty points placed on his driving licence.
