A MUSSELBURGH man has been told he must carry out unpaid work in the community after admitting to behaving in a threatening manner.
Sacha Scott turned up at his partner’s home uninvited and banged on the door.
Scott also shouted, swore, acted aggressively and made offensive remarks towards the occupants of the property on the town’s Stoneyhill Wynd on August 24.
The 31-year-old then refused to leave the area when requested to do so and struggled with his partner during the incident.
Police were alerted and Scott, of Ravensheugh Road, was arrested and charged, and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court the following week, where he pleaded guilty.
He returned to the dock for sentencing last week, where Sheriff Julius Komorowski sentenced Scott to carry out 48 hours of unpaid work as an alternative to paying a fine.
