TWO county men have been found guilty of making threats of violence towards a man during an incident at North Berwick Harbour.
Edward Ingle, of the town’s Eastfield Road, and Allan Hales, of Wingate Crescent, Dunbar, stood trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Friday after denying the allegations.
But following the evidence, the pair were found guilty of an amended charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, acting aggressively and uttering threats of violence towards Samuel Lowe.
The offence took place at the harbour in North Berwick on July 3 last year.
Sheriff Julius Komorowski deferred sentence on 56-year-old Ingle and Hales, 40, to next month for the preparation of social work reports.
