MORE than a dozen popular scenes and stunning sunrises feature in an amateur photographer’s first ever calendar.

Pat Christie has published her first calendar, which features recognisable shots from North Berwick.

The 75-year-old’s photographs have appeared regularly in the Courier, as well as on the BBC.

Now, for the first time, she has pulled 13 images together for a special calendar.

Pat, who moved to the town 14 years ago from Edinburgh, is a member of the East Lothian Courier Camera Club.

Pat was very excited to see her images in print and said: "I'm absolutely delighted and blown away by the response there has been to the calendar so far.

“This has been an ambition for a long time so it's quite literally a dream come true!"

Pat is also a well-known knitter around town and is almost as well-known for her original and cheerful knitted postbox toppers as she is for her photography.

Using only a mobile phone, she manages to capture stunning images of the town, particularly around daybreak.

The calendar, along with a small selection of cards and postcards, is being published in collaboration with Chandlers on the town’s High Street.

All profits will go to support community projects run by community group Yarn Café, of which Pat is also a member.

The group is currently working on a collaboration with East Lothian Foodbank, creating an 'autumn goddess' inspired knitted window display to raise awareness of the work done by the foodbank, as well as collecting cash and food donations.

The calendar and cards are available in Chandlers, Rock & Bird and Sweet News, all on North Berwick High Street, as well as Tulipa at Fenton Barns, and are also available online at www.chandlers.shop
