The finalists for the best Scottish fish & Chip awards have been announced with three East Lothian fish bars in the running. 

Dino's in Haddington, along with East Coast and Good Catch, both situated in Musselburgh, are in the running for the best chip shop in the east of Scotland category. 

They will be up against some big names on Scotland's east coast, such as Anstruther Fish Bar and the Castle Rock Takeaway in Edinburgh.

The news was announced by the Scottish Fish & Chip Awards via social media with the results to be announced in Glasgow on November 11. 

East Coast, on Musselburgh's North High Street, is also in the running best fish supper in the east of Scotland category and will face off against the likes of Bertie's Restaurant & Bar in Edinburgh and Franco's Dalkeith, located in Midlothian. 

Good Catch takeaway is on Musselburgh's Moray Way, next to Pinkie Farm Convenience Store.
