CULINARY creations have helped kind-hearted schoolchildren raise more than £400 for charity.
A bake-off competition was held at Dunbar Grammar School, where £105 was raised for Dunbar FoodShare.
Meanwhile, a Macmillan Cancer Support afternoon tea was organised by some of the school’s hospitality pupils.
Nearly £300 was raised for the good cause and the youngsters were praised for their “organisational skills and their hospitality”.
Next month, the school is holding a dress down day for Children in Need.
