PEOPLE aged 60 and over are welcome to attend the lunch club at the Hollies Community Hub in Musselburgh.
The lunch club is open five days a week for those in the community who might be feeling “lonely or isolated”.
A free minibus picks up people in Musselburgh, Wallyford and Whitecraig who cannot make their own way to the High Street hub.
There is an escort on board who meets people at their front door, helps them onto the minibus and serves their choice of lunch, with music from the 1950s and 1960s playing in the background. They are then escorted back to their front door.
People only pay for what they eat and drink.
