POSTCARDS encouraging people to report anti-social behaviour have been delivered to residents of a Dunbar street.
Dunbar Community Council decided to hand out the postcards, which highlight the different ways in which to get in contact with police, to residents near Belhaven Hospital.
Pippa Swan, chairwoman, told the Courier: “Dunbar community councillor Stuart Cameron wanted to let people close to Belhaven Community Garden have an easy way of reporting anti-social behaviour.
“We made up a simple postcard that gave residents the 101 number, as well as a link to the online reporting form.

“It was all in connection with trying to get people to report anti-social behaviour or concerning behaviours so that the police might be persuaded to direct more resource to Dunbar to help the community police team.”
Earlier this year, a fire damaged a polytunnel at the community garden, while a wooden table and shelves were destroyed.
