A SIGN highlighting the Edinburgh Innovation Hub could be placed beside East Lothian’s busiest road.
A planning application has been lodged with East Lothian Council for a sign highlighting the multi-million-pound project beside Musselburgh’s Queen Margaret University.
The development will include a flexible laboratory, office and meeting and conference spaces for rent by high-growth, small to medium enterprises (SMEs).

The facility will “support and grow” the innovation and commercial knowledge sectors, bringing together research, industry and academia under one roof, creating opportunities for knowledge-sharing.
Edinburgh Innovation Park Hub has submitted the application for the sign, which would measure 4.8m by 3.6m.
It highlights that the scheme is in partnership with East Lothian Council and Queen Margaret University.
The sign, which would be at the university’s junction on the northern side of the A1, notes that the 7,200sqm serviced lab and office building will be available from the summer of next year.
