A YOUNGSTER starting school is a daunting prospect - for parents and carers especially!
How will they settle in? Will they make friends? Will they manage the loo themselves? And a thousands other concerns.
Well, now that the new batch of East Lothian Primary 1s have been at school for about six weeks, we hope that they've got into a good routine and, most of all, are enjoying the start of their school journey.

And we at the Courier are sure that their parents and careers, grannies and grandads, and friends and extended family will enjoy our picture gallery of the youngsters in their new school environment.
