A MAN was taken to hospital after falling off his bicycle on the A198 in East Lothian on Wednesday.
At about 2.05pm, police officers received reports that a man had fallen off their bike on the road between Archerfield and Dirleton, near the road's junction with the B1345.
Emergency services attended and the Scottish Ambulance Service took the cyclist to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh as a precaution.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a man having come off his bike on the A198 near Dirleton around 2.05pm on Wednesday, September 25.
“Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh as a precaution.”
