NEW signs welcoming people to a school which dates back more than 100 years have been approved.
Belhaven Hill School was given permission for listed building consent by East Lothian Council.
The signs, which feature information relating to the school as well as contact details, received no objections from members of the public.
The local authority’s planning department said that the signs would “not appear as harmfully prominent, intrusive or incongruous features”.
