A COUNTY man will appear in court from custody after he failed to show up for sentencing.

Bradley Colborne was due to appear in the dock at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week after he had previously admitted assaulting a man outside the Biddy Mulligans pub at Edinburgh's Grassmarket.

Colborne punched Mark Ronaldson on the head and the man fell to the ground to his injury.

The 22-year-old was eventually identified and arrested by police following the assault on March 22.

Colborne, of Hoprig Avenue, Blindwells, committed the offence after having been granted bail on February 8.

After Colborne failed to appear at last week’s hearing, Sheriff Christopher Dickson issued a non-appearance warrant for his arrest.
