A COFFEE morning in North Berwick raised nearly £1,000 for the town's day centre last Saturday.
The event was held at North Berwick Day Centre on St Andrew Street and attendees headed to the venue to raise funds, paying £3.50 on entry.
In addition to coffee, tea, scones and cakes, there was a tombola, book and jigsaw stand, while a raffle was held.

Derek Braid, volunteer at the day centre, said: "We were pleasantly surprised to see so many people attend the event.
"The coffee morning was a great success."
About 100 people attended the event and the total amount raised was £980.50.
