MAN’S best friend will visit Haddington Farmers’ Market on Saturday.
Therapets, along with their therapy dogs, will be on hand to highlight their work visiting schools, care homes, hospital wards and much more.
The charitable organisation will offer insight to dog owners about how they can become a volunteer.
The market, which dates back more than 20 years, will offer a wide selection of local and seasonal produce, ranging from beetroot and brambles to plums and pumpkins.
Among the stallholders will be Phantassie, with a stall full of seasonal produce.
Also among the stallholders will be Edinburgh Fermentarium, offering tastings of its range of naturally fermented, unpasteurised, raw and vegan vegetables, and Prestonpans-based The Spice Witch with her range of spicy chutneys, which include mango and chilli, spiced pineapple, hot chilli jam and smoky tomato relish.
Music will be provided by Haddington Pipe Band, who are also releasing their 2025 calendar.
Twenty-seven stallholders will be at the market, which takes place on the town’s Court Street, from 9am to 1pm.
Parking is available to the rear of John Muir House.
