SUBMISSIONS are being sought for the annual Newhailes Squared art exhibition at Newhailes House in Musselburgh.
This year’s theme is ‘portraits’, and entries can be a self portrait or a picture of someone else.
The only rule is that it is exactly 10x10 inches in size, including frames or mounts.
Budding artists, professionals or those who want to have a hobby for the next few months can enjoy taking part.
The rules are the same as previous years: any medium of choice whether pencil, paint, collage or photography.
The exhibition is open to everyone – visitors, students, the local community and all ages.
All entries will go on display at Newhailes, a National Trust for Scotland attraction, from January 25 to February 16 next year.
