A RACE night is being held to raise funds for the Hollies Community Hub in Musselburgh.
The event, on Friday, October 18, has been organised by the Musselburgh & District Veterans’ Group, which meets at the hub at 183 High Street.
It will start at 7pm, with the first race expected at 7.30pm.
Tickets, which cost £5 each, are available from the Hollies. Raffles will be held and the ticket price includes entry to a special raffle which will be drawn on the night.
There is an opportunity to sponsor a race, with a suggested starting point at £25, or to buy a horse for £5.
The Musselburgh and District Veterans Group runs a drop-in club on Monday mornings from 10am to 12.30pm. All veterans and service members are welcome to attend.
