THREE determined walkers have put their best foot forward to raise more than £1,000 for a good cause.

Mig Coupe, Heather Bowsher and Kim McPartland were among those representing the Lammermuir Larder at the Edinburgh Kiltwalk over the weekend.

Together, the trio covered a total of 42 miles – with Heather and Mig tackling the Big Stroll and Kim conquering the Mighty Stride.

The Lammermuir Larder, which is based on Haddington’s Church Street, was set up in 2021.

It aims to support individuals and families in the Haddington area who are struggling financially to feed themselves and/or their families.

A spokesperson for the group took to social media to congratulate the trio on their success.

They said: “I am very proud to have the privilege of making this post on the Lammermuir Larder’s page.

“Mig, Heather and Kim have completed the Kiltwalk on behalf of the Larder and raised a phenomenal £1,100 so far and we’re still counting.

“Thanks to everyone who donated, this money will help the larder support people in our local community who struggle to feed themselves and or their families.

“The ladies deserve all our thanks for their efforts.”
