A NEW café has opened up at a pumpkin and sunflower farm in East Lothian.
Herd Coffee, situated on the Balgone Estate, south of North Berwick, flung open its doors to customers for the first time on August 31 in a "new venture" for the farm.
The café provides locally sourced fresh food, with some of the cakes baked on-site, along with tasty treats from Company Bakery in Musselburgh.

The café is exclusively open on weekends between 9am and 3pm but, if all goes well in the next few months, management are looking to expand opening times - with a number of vacancies now open to apply for.
Alex Humphreys, general manager of the Balgone Estate, said: "This is a brand-new venture for us and this is great for our customers, as they can enjoy our café along with other activities going on at the farm.
"Herd Coffee is also a great way for people to connect with local farming, as we have a number of products and meats on sale that are locally sourced.
"So far, we have been very busy in the café and our customers have taken to it very well.
"At the moment, we have it only open weekends but have a lot of plans for it in the future."
Alex also told the Courier that they were hoping to rent out the café for community use and maybe even have local chefs carrying out masterclasses there.
