A GROUP wearing hoods and balaclavas tried to break into a shop in Musselburgh last night.
CCTV images show the group of four people, with their faces hidden, attempting to force entry into Levenhall Village Store in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A window was damaged during the incident and police are now investigating.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of an attempted break-in to a premises on Ravensheugh Road, Levenhall, Musselburgh, on Saturday, September 14, which happened overnight.
“Enquiries are at an early stage.”
