AN EXTREMELY rare bird more commonly found in Central Asia has been spotted at an East Lothian golf club.
Dozens of birdwatchers have been flocking to Dunbar to catch a sight of the steppe grey shrike.
The small bird is native to parts of northern China, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
But its appearance near Winterfield Golf Club and neighbouring Winterfield Park in Dunbar has caused a flutter in the birdwatching community.
Photographs have been posted on social media showing the small bird on the golf course, putting green and activity park.
