AWARD-WINNING singer/songwriter Karine Polwart has passed on tips of the trade to Knox Academy pupils.
The Haddington secondary school’s music department was “humbled and delighted” to welcome the star.
A spokesperson for the school said: “Karine kindly accepted our invitation to facilitate a workshop for our Higher music and drama students on the craft of creative composition and the lifegiving art of collaboration.
“What an absolute treat to have Karine singing in one of our classrooms!
“A truly humble and gifted artist and an advocate for the professional music industry in Scotland.”
