THE A198 in North Berwick was closed earlier this afternoon after a crash near to the Tesco supermarket.
Police were called to the scene at about 12.30pm, east of the roundabout on Tantallon Road, opposite Tesco; the road has now reopened.
As a result of the incident, the 120 bus service was unable to serve North Berwick.
Lothian Buses said: "Due to a road closure, buses are unable to serve North Berwick and are instead terminating short at Rhodes Holdings until further notice."
It is currently unclear if there were any injuries or how many vehicles were involved but the Courier understands that a motorbike was involved in the crash.
