SCHOOLCHILDREN from throughout East Lothian will showcase their musical talents next month.
The East Lothian Council instrumental music service perform at St Mary’s Parish Church on October 9.
The concert, which features children from schools throughout the county, is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The day beforehand, the Haddington church will welcome the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
The concert, which gets under way at 1pm, is titled RSNO Plays Haydn.
Presenter Gillian Moore introduces young and old to the wonders of classical music.

Finally, the Garleton Singers will perform Karl Jenkins’ Mass for Peace, The Armed Man, on November 10.
