A MUSSELBURGH restaurant has cooked its way to a top accolade at the 10th Food Awards Scotland 2024.
Parrilla Argentinian Grill won the 'Best World Cuisine' category, much to the delight of brothers Nazim Ahmed and Ateeq Rahman, co-founders of the town centre eatery.
Manager Ateeq said they were "overjoyed" to have received the award, adding: "This recognition is truly a remarkable achievement for our team and reflects the hard work and dedication that everyone at our restaurant puts into their craft."
He said: "We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful guests, whose support and enthusiasm inspire us every day.
"We are incredibly thankful for our dedicated staff, whose tireless efforts ensure that every dining experience is exceptional and memorable."
Ateeq explained that the restaurant was "renowned for its diverse menu", featuring a selection of dishes inspired by flavours from around the globe, from savoury stroganoff to beef cheeks and Spanish and Portuguese influence.
He said: "As Parrilla Argentinian Grill continues to grow and evolve, it remains committed to delighting diners with innovative and authentic dishes that celebrate the rich tapestry of world cuisine.
"The restaurant invites both new and returning guests to join in the celebration of this remarkable achievement."

"These finalists reflect the resilience and creativity of countless chefs, producers, employees and managers who always ensure that locals and visitors eat well.
