PARENTS and carers are being invited to attend a special meeting at Knox Academy.
The school’s parent council has its first meeting in the school library on Tuesday, and has encouraged “as many parents [to] join us as possible”.
A spokesperson for the group said: “This meeting will include a brief overview of the role of the parent council, as well as a guide to the journey of a Knox pupil from S1 to S6.”
Coffee and cake will be served from 6pm, with the meeting getting under way half an hour later.
