NINE years ago this month, Cockenzie Power Station’s iconic chimneys were demolished when East Lothian resident Donald McCulloch pressed the button to detonate the explosives inserted into 150 holes drilled in the chimney stacks.
The demolition was watched by thousands of onlookers gathered along the coast and in boats on the Firth of Forth.
