TWO 13-year-old boys have been charged and reported after an investigation into an alleged assault on a pregnant woman at a bus stop in Tranent.
The alleged incident took place in the town centre on Friday evening.
On Tuesday, the victim’s husband took to social media to say she had subsequently suffered a miscarriage.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Following a report on August 30 that a female was assaulted at a bus stop in Tranent, extensive enquiries were carried out by the East Lothian community police team.
“Two 13-year-old boys have now been charged and reported.”
