A CHARITY will mark 40 years with a special fundraiser next month.
Can Do, previously East Lothian Special Needs Playscheme, was set up in 1982.
The group is described as “a truly parent-led charity, a place where disabilities don’t matter, but where special needs are met and expectations exceeded”.
To mark 40 years, a ceilidh is taking place and food is being served at The Harbour Chapel in Dunbar from 6.30pm to midnight on October 5.
The charity’s ambassador, Paralympian Maria Lyle, will also be attending.
Tickets for the fundraiser, £35, are available from can-do.scot
