MICHAEL Fassbender takes to the big screen in Gullane next Saturday evening (September 14).
Next Goal Wins follows the American Samoa football team, who infamously lost 31-0 to Australia in 2001 when attempting to qualify for the World Cup.
With the World Cup qualifiers approaching, the team hires a down-on-his-luck coach, Thomas Rongen (Fassbender), to try to turn things around.
The heartfelt underdog comedy is shown in Gullane Village Hall by Little Big Screen.
Doors open at 7.30pm, with the film getting under way half an hour later.
No tickets are required and entry is by donation on the door.
