POLICE are hunting for a driver who crashed into a wall and fled the scene in the early hours of this morning.
At about 3.25am on Thursday, officers received a report of a one-vehicle crash on Belhaven Road in Dunbar.
During the incident, a wall was badly damaged and the driver drove off following the crash.
Pictures shared with the Courier show the wall of a property nearly completely flattened, with the bumper of a car lying on the pavement close to where the incident happened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.25am on Thursday, August 29, police received a report of a one-vehicle road crash on Belhaven Road, Dunbar.
"A wall was badly damaged in the incident and the driver drove off following the crash.
"Enquiries are under way to locate them."
