AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a fire in Musselburgh on Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters from the town were called out to Delta Crescent at about 3.45pm after reports that a fence was alight.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said that bushes were alight which had “affected a fence”.
Firefighters dealt with the blaze and stood down shortly before 4.20pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.10pm on Saturday, we were made aware of a fire in the Delta Crescent area of Musselburgh.
“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and is being treated as wilful.
“Following enquiries, no one was traced in connection.
“Anyone with further information should contact 101, quoting reference 2505 of August 24.”
Nobody was injured in the incident.
