GARDENS in Japan, the Sopwith Strutter and Arizona are among the topics to be covered by visitors to Haddington and District Probus Club.
The group opens its new season at the town’s Maitlandfield House Hotel on September 9.
Rona Bowick, president of the group, will welcome members old and new.
The first talk of the season is 'Beneath the surface of Scotland' and will be given by Bruce Keith.
A spokesperson for the group said: “We meet at 10am for a chat and a cuppa, and we would be delighted to see some new faces there.
“We exist to help retirees socialise and to learn a bit from a range of speakers on a wide range of topics including, this year, gardens in Japan, the art and science of 3D measurement, the Sopwith Strutter, Arizona and Papple Steading.”
