THE next meeting of the East Lothian Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club will be held next month.
The meeting takes place on September 7 at the Royal British Legion in Prestonpans, situated on Rope Walk.
People are expected to be seated at 9.30am.
This event allows people to meet face to face in a relaxed, safe and social environment.
Attendees are able to go along to enjoy breakfast with others who have shared the same experiences.
This has been said to help combat the loneliness that some veterans feel when they leave the services.
There are no fees and attendees only pay for their own breakfast, with the breakfast session open to all members of the armed forces family.
