RECORD numbers of visitors were welcomed to Doghailes at Newhailes House and Gardens in Musselburgh this year.
The National Trust for Scotland attraction hosted the recent annual event for four-legged friends and their owners earlier this month.
More than 2,200 people flocked to Newhailes during the day.
Highlights included a fancy dress competition, Saints Sled Dog Rescue team and a Doghailes market, including dog-related stalls, selling a variety of goods.
Anna Hughes, visitor services manager at Newhailes, said: “We’ve never seen so many dogs of all shapes and sizes, from puppies to gentle giants.
“We welcomed record numbers of visitors to Doghailes this year and we’re so grateful to all those who attended, particularly our repeat visitors.
“We’ve seen many dogs grow along with the event and it’s wonderful to have them back year after year.
“We certainly enjoyed the day, and we hope that all our guests did too.”
