PATROLS encouraging people to be responsible when visiting the countryside and coastline will resume next week.
Police have been working with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and East Lothian Council Countryside Rangers throughout the summer.
Patrols have been carried out where officers have spoken to people about fire safety, wild camping and respecting the local area.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic, East Lothian’s coastline has seen a huge rise in the number of people visiting and wild camping.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed that they would be back on patrol next Friday (August 30).
