A CHILD was taken to hospital after an incident in North Berwick on Wednesday.
The Scottish Ambulance Service were dispatched to the incident near Lady Jane Gardens after receiving a call at 10.49am.
The nature of the incident has not been disclosed but it has been suggested it involved a bicycle.
Two ambulances attended the scene and the young person was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 10.49am on Wednesday, August 14, to attend an incident near Lady Jane Gardens, North Berwick.
"We dispatched two ambulances to the scene and one patient was transported to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People, Edinburgh.”
