PLANS for a path connecting more than 100 new homes to an existing village have been revealed.
Construction work is well under way on 90 new homes on Elphinstone’s western edge at Castlehill.
In November last year, a second application for land to the north of the site was lodged with East Lothian Council.
The second application, also from Bellway Homes Scotland East, is for 103 houses and eight flats, and continues north from the existing development.
A decision on the 111 properties is yet to be made by the local authority.
The proposed footpath would connect the 111 homes - and the wider site - to Waterloo Place to the east.
