THROUGHOUT the latter part of the 20th century, The Jacksons (originally the Jackson 5) were known to many as being music royalty.
And on Friday evening, attendees at their gig in North Berwick were graced with their presence and musical talents.
The stage for this magnificent event back in time was of course Fringe by the Sea's Big Top, and what a fitting reception Tito, Jermaine and Marlon received from East Lothian residents and visitors.
Michael Jackson, the most successful of the siblings, passed away in 2009, but his three brothers have kept the gigs going with passionate, feel-good disco tunes.

Their first single, I Want You Back, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is a prime example of the kind of 'Jacksons Party' they became so well-known for - and why they are still performing more than 50 years on from that very same release.
And on Friday evening, they delivered the same bouncy, fun and cheerful atmosphere that no one can deny people just love to get their groove on for.
From the very start of the show, it was like a vault of musical heaven being poured over the crowd so powerful it was intoxicating.
From Can You Feel It all the way to Shake Your Body to the Ground, the smiles I saw on people's faces reminded me of the jubilation that can only be felt when relistening to some of the music from your very first melodic memories.
I may have been the youngest person there on Friday evening, but seeing the joyful expressions on the faces of people in their sixties was something I will remember for a very long time.
It is clear that The Jacksons' spirit and party is still alive and filling people with the same joy that rocketed them to the forefront of disco and pop in the 1960s and beyond.
